Terms of Service
Effective 30 September 2026. These are the plain terms for using tungent. By creating a workspace, registering a device key or exposing a hostname you agree to them.
1. The service
tungent ("we", "us") gives you public hostnames under tungent.ai that forward HTTP traffic to a service you run, over an ssh or WireGuard connection you open from your side. You get a free allowance and can pay for more traffic. We may change features, limits and prices; paid changes take effect at your next billing period.
2. Your account and devices
A workspace can be created without an account by a device key. You are responsible for the devices and keys attached to your workspaces, for keeping your API tokens and device keys secret, and for everything exposed through your hostnames. Tell us at support@tungent.ai if a key or token leaks and we will revoke it.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use tungent to break the law, to attack, scan or overload other systems, to distribute malware, to phish, to send spam, to infringe someone else's rights, or to evade a block another operator placed on you. Do not interfere with the service itself (for example by creating hostnames in bulk, probing other tenants, or circumventing limits). We may suspend or remove a hostname, device or workspace that breaks these rules, and we will tell you when we can.
4. Your content
What flows through your hostnames is yours. We do not read it beyond what routing and the metering described in the privacy policy require, and we claim no rights to it. You must have the right to serve what you expose.
5. Payments
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed through Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for and is not refunded for the remainder, except where the law requires otherwise. Traffic above your allowance may be slowed or metered as described on the pricing section of the site.
6. Availability
We try to keep hostnames up and to tell you about maintenance, but the service is provided "as is" without a guaranteed uptime. Hostnames do not expire while you use them; a workspace that is abusive or that we are legally required to remove can be removed.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data or loss of profit arising from the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by deleting your workspaces. We can end or suspend the service for a breach of these terms, for legal reasons, or by giving you reasonable notice. Sections 4, 7 and 9 survive.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do, and material changes are announced on the site or by email to account holders. Questions: support@tungent.ai.
